the Graphic Marathon 2017

Just about got through the lastest graphic marathon , and what a testing time! Seemed to be going well, with a last minute inspiration for the Xmas Cards bearing fruit. See the lastest Xmas Cards here. We got into a production run and Anna took the brunt of assembling whilst I beavered away doing the background stuff. Important thing is we got there. Then all sorts of other commitments piled in, Anna went down with the ‘flu. Cobbled together the annual family montage of photos from the past years activities, more or less on the run. Then I followed Anna downwith the ‘flu just as the house filled up and Xmas was on us. The Xmas tree and decorations (that I try to insist are done on Xmas Eve) were definately lack lustre and no more than tokenism. Michelle suddenly had to fly off to China, with her Dad seriously injured in a road accident. Despite it all, the family members all pulled together and a very enjoyable festive season was pulled out of the wreckage. With Michelle, absent we had the two sets of Grandchildren for a whole week and then Anna camped in Exter for another two weeks to see those children off to school. Meanwhile I thought I wa slowly getting over the ‘flu only to be knocked back again.

The upshot of it was that the family calendar was put on hold and has only now just come off the press, with the ink still wet. These are the images, out of our photo year, that we chose to use:

So the marathon has passed, time to settle down and plot the projects for this new year.
